Silverthemes.com is a registered company located in Norway under the official name Trollweb Solutions AS. While Trollweb works with all aspects of web-development and general design mainly for customers in Norway, Silverthemes' main focus is to deliver professional Magento-templates and addons to any customers worldwide.

Location

Although we are just a ping-reply away from Varien's headquaters in Los Angeles, USA, we are physically located almost on the opposite site of Planet Earth. More precisely Silverthemes.com is located in the western part of Norway, the beautiful country in northern Europe, right next to Sweden, in the busy timezone GMT+1. Working with design and development in Norway is as you might imagine just perfect. The beautiful nature around us and the calmness give us an enourmous amount of design-inspiration which we highly appreciate in our work. Our offices are modern and stylish to give us even more inspiration - just to be able to give you the best products possible!

History

As a company working with non-professional ecommerce-solutions like OsCommerce and ZenCart for our clients for years we found a way out of the frustration as soon as we saw the first version of Magento in mid-2007. We soon started involving in the project and we've for the last year built up our knowledge-base around Magento in almost any aspects, from development of extensions to design to hosting to any Magento-related service from installation to Magento-courses.

The people behind Silverthemes.com also run several own stores like the tshirt/hoodie-store www.duffywear.com, early converted over from OsCommerce to Magento with great success. We've also designed the very popular norwegian restaurantguide Oregano.no. All in all these projects help us understand better what your needs are to run a successfull ecommerce-business online.

Our latest portofolio for 2009-2010 includes dozens of small- to midrange Magento deliveries and also several large Magento Enteprise deliveries for companies like Nokia and Qt.

Roy Andrè Tollefsen

Managing director and lead-designer

Roy Andre is the founder of Silverthemes.com. He has been working with webdesign- and webdevelopment for over a decade, in all aspects from development to design to project-management. He's also been working as a full-time systems engineer for eight years in a software-company developing and selling their own-made retail-system. Roy Andrè is also the founder of Trollweb, Norways largest Magento-provider with hundreds of clients using Magento.

Dag Vidar Bygnes

Sales- and Support-manager

Dag Vidar is the co-founder of Silverthemes.com. Dag Vidar has been working with almost any computer-related issue for the past 12 years and has an enourmous amount of computer-knowledge in almost any matter. He's also a telecom-specialist in the oil-industry. Dag Vidar is our teamleader for both Support and Sales and most likely the first person you'll get in contact when you place your order or need any assistance.

Tykhon Dziuban

Magento developer

Tykhon write C++, logical languages like PROLOG, VB, Delphi, C#, Perl and PHP fluid - and is one of our great Magento developers. Tykhon joined the team in 2010 and is a full-time employee at Trollweb Solutions, the mothership behind Silverthemes.

Bjørn Børresen

Bjørn has been working with software development for over 15 years. Today Bjørn most of the time develop RIA applications in Adobe Flex and widgets in Flash, but he has also developed many large Java-based systems. Bjørn holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.

Erling Håmsø

Magento Designer

Brilliant Magento designer with in-depth knowledge of XHTML/CSS. Most computer geeks of the same age remember Wolfenstein 3D. Erling remembers Bannermania. He has been making websites since Internet first came to Norway, and hasn't stopped yet. Going to school has never been an option, and therefore Erling is as autodidact as they come. He has also recently founded Jovial.no, a Magento-based skateshop in Norway, and is continuously working on new projects. Erling rocks!

Pål has had an interest for development spanning over 15 years. Currently working full-time developing a popular online CRM system Pål also enjoys working with serverhosting and optimizing Magento to give the best performance possible. His job requires him to have a varied set of skills, ranging from server management to front-end design, primarily working with JavaScript (Dojo) and Perl/Catalyst. When Pål isnt tweaking, tuning or optimizing Magento systems he relax with a bottle of Coke and a book about C#.
